Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1989 Ford F-350 2WD Extended Cab Dually pickup. It has been repowered with a 5.9 CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL engine. The truck transmission is an Automatic with overdrive. It has XLT Lariat option with cruise, tilt, cold A/C, Power windows, Power Locks(they are a little stiff and don't always lock and unlock). The Cummins is an early model engine that has the rotary fuel injection pump and inner-cooled. I was told that the engine had 85,000 miles on it when installed in the Ford wich was about 40,000 miles ago. Don't have any info on the transmission other than it shifts good and works like it should, but as far as being rebuilt or haw many miles on it, I don't know. The rear end has been rebuilt with all new bearings and gears which I believe were 3.73 ratio. The front end has been gone through as well and is nice and tight. This truck runs great, gets good mileage and drives like car. Whoever done the engine swap did an excellent job and it looks like it came from the factory this way. All the gauges work(sometimes the tach acts up when it rains), the cruise works and there is aftermarket gauges for trans temp, pyrometer, boost, and these all work like they should also. The interior is just about spotless. There are a couple screw holes in the top of the dash, looks like someone mounted something there at sometime. Other than that its pretty nice and clean. The exterior is pretty nice also. There are a few dents on top of the hood like hail damage. I tried to take a picture of it but with the white paint color it would not show up in the picture. There is scrapes and dings on the truck and rock chips here and there. I do believe that the paint is the original paint, except for the tailgate and one dually fender being repainted, so for 20 plus years old it looks pretty good. I can't find any rust on this truck. The tailgate has some dents and scratches but not terrible. Inside the bed is scratched up. The rear bumper is tweeked a little on one corner like someone backed into something. All the lights work inside and out. The tool box in the bed goes with it and it is huge. Its around 30" wide and extra deep. Would be an expensive box to buy new. One latch on the box doesn't work and one of the gas shocks has broke loose but the lid still raises and latches shut. The tires are decent, not new and not completely wore out. The truck shows 60,378 on the odometer and it doesn't have the 100,000 mile capability, but was told that it has rolled over once so it would have 160,378. Please feel free to ask any questions and if there are any specific pictures you want to see, let me know and I'll get some to you. Buyer is responsable for pick up or shipping. Thanks for looking.
