1996 Nissan 200SX SE-r 88,980 miles!!!! No winters ever!! this car is the rare edition that has the SR20DE motor in it. Along with 4 wheel disc brakes and Limited slip diff in the transmission (limited slip only came in the 95-97 I believe) you will be hard pressed to ever find one of these with less then 100k miles. This Vehicle is in great condition for its age. I have owned it since 2001. This has been my daily driver for the most part 3 seasons out of the year. I have stored it every winter since I've owned it. I picked it up in Southern PA in which that owner stated it was never driven in the winter. The condition of the body and underside hold that to be true. This car shows some wear of course. It is still 13 years old. Seats show wear, some scratches on the pass front fender (scratches wouldn't even really show up in a pic) and its got a few dings from morons in parking lots who lack respect for others. NO RUST anywhere. It starts and runs great even when its stored all winter it starts like it ran the day before. Drives down the road perfect. All functions in car work including air conditioning, heat, power windows, power locks and the power moon roof. No check engine lite issues. Has a slight groan in the brakes right before you come to a stop every once in a while. Has no affect whatsover on the braking ability. Could not find anything mechanically wrong. Was explained to me as the material of the pads with the rotors combination. recent maintenance- The oil is changed on a normal basis. I always use a synthetic blend. Transmission also has a syn-blend in it. Had front brake pads and rotors at 70k. Front CV shafts replaced at 83k (new, not remanufatured). Spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor and fuel filter all done 2000 miles ago. Front sway bar links and bushings were done last week. Tires are in good shape and still have good tread to them. They are 4 matching Falken Ziex 512's. The following equipment was done when I bought it and has been on there and working fine since- ACT Clutch and Fidanza flywheel, Stillen header, B&M shifter, KYB AGX Struts w/ Ground Control Springs. Had an aftermarket Exhaust on it first then about 25k miles ago I switched it back to stock but all new Catalytic converter and rest of exhaust system. Viper Alarm with Keyless Entry, Trunk Pop and Window rollup Kenwood excelon MASK headunit (could never find another radio that looks this sweet in this dash), Kenwood component front speakers, alpine amp and MTX 10" subs. Sub boxes are mounted in trunk so they don't move around. Can still access spare tire!! Autocheck shows a possible odometer rollback from when the car was less then 2 years old. When I checked into this it was deemed as a clerical error at that time since someone would have had to put over 100k miles on it in a little over a year. unfortunently I cannot get it corrected with autocheck. This car has been my baby for the past 9 years. People still stop me, ask me about it and check it out. But now its time to move on and make it someone elses baby whether you modify it, turbo it or just keep driving it. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!
