Vehicle Detail

1968 Jeep Kaiser purchased from New Hampshire where it was used by the local forestry service. I am listing this Jeep for my brother. Prior to my purchase the alternator (24 volt system), carburetor (Holley), two new 12v batteries, muffler, and radiator were replaced. Currently the vacuum wipers are not connected and fuel gauge comes on, but always reads full. Starts every time. The Jeep does not have a title, but has a registration (Historic Vehicle Plates) in the state of Georgia. The body and frame in this jeep are very solid. There are two small dents in the hood where someone put down the windshield and the handles pushed into the hood. The bed has a dent along the top on the drivers side (see pic). The top is old and we patched a tear (see pics). The black out hood light is missing. The heater is not connected, honestly I am not sure what needs done to do that and never looked into it since it's always hot here in Georgia. The forestry service built a wooden bed protector to prevent damage to the actual bed metal (see pics). I left it in place just in case I wanted to mount anything in the bed. ALL the lights work, headlights, turn signals, brake lights, and military cat eyes also work. High low beam works (floor controlled). Four wheel drive works like a champ. Currently there are military tires on the vehicle with a full size spare. I believe it has the air filter for connecting a snorkel to, but I haven't researched it. Top speed is limited due to gear ratios, I usually do not go over 45 mph. While in GA we have kept it in the garage when not driving it. We bought seat belts from Summit Racing and added them. I have tried to list everything about the Jeep both good and bad. Remember this is a 1968 vehicle (42 years old) and is being sold AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY. Please email with any questions and I will try to email you back as soon as possible. The Jeep is being sold locally here in the McDonough/Atlanta GA and if sold the auction will be ended. I encourage SERIOUS buyers to come look at it and take it for a test drive if you like please make arrangements with me via ebay messages.
