Vehicle Detail

GREAT CAR. GREAT PRICE. NO RESERVE. This is a great older Subaru Forester. We recently moved to New York and didn't want to tow the car behind the moving truck so we bought a new Subaru Forester. We love Subarus and I love the Forester especially. We bought this car with 150,000 miles on it and put another 65,000 miles on it with no problems other than replacing brakes and routine maintenance. It handles great and starts every time and the all time four wheel drive is spectacular for driving in rain and snow. This one had a minor collision before I bought it, that dented the driver's rear door and broke the glass in the door. I put in a plexiglass panel that doesn't roll down but keeps the wind out. I kept planning to fix the door and checked into getting a replacement door at a junkyard. Found them out of state for about $250 to $400 and one at a salvage yard in Harrison Arkansas for $500, but I kept putting it off since its kind of just cosmetic. You can get a great deal on this car because of the dented door. The only other thing really wrong with the car is the glass front lenses of the headlights are cracked from hitting a deer once. They are patched with clear tape and the lights still work fine but the glass lenses need to be replaced. I checked prices on this and it was between $50 to $100 per light depending on which auto parts place you check with. My girlfriend and I used this car for long cross country trips and in the winter we kept it out of areas where they put salt on the roads for snow. It doesn't have hardly any rust for a car this age. Even though it has more than 200,000 miles on it they are mostly long distance miles from interstate driving so the car itself is in much better condition than you would expect for a car with that many miles. It is located in Eureka Springs Arkansas. We just had the timing belt replaced. If you wish to take it for a test drive give me a call and we can make the arrangements. 479 790-6442. Payment is due in full within 48 hours of the close of the auction. You may pay by depositing funds into our local Arvest Bank account and we will have the shop that replaced the timing belt give you the key. We will mail the paperwork to you after payment is received and verified. I'm sorry I don't have more photos. We are in NY and the car is in Arkansas. These are all we have. But you are welcome to go and inspect the car in person or call and ask any questions you have. 479 790-6442 The interior is in fairly good shape. No bad smells or torn cushions or anything. A small coffee stain on the back seat and a bit of dust from driving down down Ozark dirt roads but all things considered the car is pretty decent for an older car. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!! YOUR BID IS A LEGALLY BINDING BID TO PURCHASE THIS CAR. IF YOU WISH TO DO AN INSPECTION AND TEST DRIVE BEFORE BUYING THE CAR DO THAT BEFORE BIDDING ON THE CAR. DO NOT BID UNTIL YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU WANT TO PURCHASE THE CAR AND DO NOT BID MORE THAN YOU HAVE MONEY ON HAND TO PAY. PAYMENT IS DUE IN FULL WITHIN 48 HOURS (2 DAYS) NO EXCEPTIONS. WE ARE SELLING THE CAR TO HELP PAY OUR MORTGAGE AND WE NEED THE MONEY RIGHT AWAY OR WE WOULD NOT BE SELLING THE CAR. SO SERIOUS BIDS ONLY PLEASE.
