Vehicle Detail
This is a one owner car and we have the service records available. The car is available for inspection by appointment prior to the end of the auction. The car runs smoothly and has served us well locally and on longer trips when we carry bicycles. The car has a 1 1/4" hitch rated for 400 lbs that we use for a bike rack. The bike rack is a Thule 995XT Express in excellent condition and available for an additional $250 if desired. Alternatively, if interested we will provide free our older Yakima roof rack, which holds two bikes and attaches to the car roof-- pictures of the rack on the car are available on request. It's a bit rusted and needs some maintenance to restore to full use. The car interior is in very good condition -- it is clean and very comfortable. The seat adjustments are all power as are the windows and locks. Stereo, cruise control, tilt wheel and all other interior systems are in good working order. The car was never in an accident until a few weeks ago when another driver decided to go straight in a left turn lane and hit the driver side. Aside from the visible damage in the photos, there is no indication of damage to the door post, the doors open and close, locks operate, the side view mirror adjusts through the interior control however the window does not open on the driver door. The rest of the exterior is in mostly good condition for a car with 127k miles. There are noticeable surface scratches and a couple of small rust spots on the exterior. Instead of repairing the body damage, we have decided to sell the car and replace it with an SUV that will carry bikes inside the vehicle. Regardless of what the buyer decides to do about the body damage, the Avalon is solid and will make for reliable transportation for someone who wants a comfortable full-size sedan. The trunk is very spacious, clean for groceries and carrying things. We have never had to add oil in between routine servicing. We want to sell this car to a buyer who wants reliable transportation, thus we've set a low starting bid with no reserve. When the auction ends, all sales are final. The car is sold as is. We've provided photographs of everything we thought would be of interest to a potential buyer but if you would like any additional photographs, we are happy to accommodate your request to the extent possible. All questions will be responded to within 24 hours. Thanks for considering our car. Good luck!
