Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 NUMBERS MATCHING 1965 CORVETTE. 327 engine, 4 speed, power disc brakes with proportioning valve, power steering and lastly vintage air conditioning. 72,500 original miles (as best I can tell from the stack of receipts). 1998 work: Car was frame off restoration in 1998. EVERY ITEM under the car and bolted to it was either replaced or rebuilt including trailing arms, brake lines, fuel lines, rotors, stainless calipers, rear spring etc. The underside of car looks excellent. NO RUST. Motor, trans and rear end were rebuilt at approx 68,000 miles. Gauges were also redone along with the clock all are very shinny and clear and function perfectly. 2000– ? work: Snake Oyl seat belt restoration 2009-2010 work: 1) Paint (Nassau blue, original color) 2) New knock off wheels (have hubcaps also) 3) Re-chromed bumpers 4) New Al Knoch soft top 5) New windshield 6) New rocker panels 7) New taillights 8) New front marker lights 9) New door handles and locks 10) New wiper arms & blades 11) New knock off rims 12) Dewitt’s radiator 13) New emblems sides and trunk 14) New power brake booster 15) New hoses 16) New carb with electric choke and high idle solenoid 17) Distributor was converted to electronic (no points) 18) New shocks and rear spring I have approx $30,000 in receipts since 1998. No smoke with excellent oil pressure 4500 miles on engine, trans and rear end. I drive this car every 3-4 days so I have absorbed all of the “start up” from it sitting the last decade. I have put more miles on the car in last 12 months than had gotten the previous 11 years. THERE IS NOTHING TO DO TO THIS CAR MECANICALLY. I spare no expense on its maintenance. I am selling because we are going from parking for 6 cars down to parking for 2 cars in January. My price is very firm so you don’t need to email me and explain the economy or “today’s” value of Corvette’s. If you don’t like the price, don’t buy it. I would consider a trade (me coming up with additional cash) for a Mercedes 2008-2009 SL550 or 2004-2007 Ferrari 430
