On the auction block today is a 1971 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. It was a Pensylvania car all its life and was rust free when I bought it to restore 3 years ago. It sat in dry storage since 1985 with only 64000 miles on it. I truly believe is original as it also said on the title when I bought it. Title now reads exempt. I am the 3rd owner. Since I've owned it I had the Carburator,Brakes,Master cylinder,Hoses,Spark plugs, muffler and battery, rebuilt or replaced with new. Engine runs excellent! The car is a real head turner. I get alot of compliments driving down the road. Does not seem to burn oil but transmission pan gaskets leak.(easy fix) It has a new coat of paint on the body and engine bay as of 2 years ago. Interior has new carpet and newer door panels. Seat are fair but should be redone to complete the look of the car. The convertible top is fair,but still solid and back glass is broke. A new top and rear glass are included with sale of vehicle.(not installed) Power top works fine but slow. extra power motor will be included also. Tires are fair and speedo cable need replacing as it is seized from sitting 21 years.
