Here is a very solid 1955 Chevy Pickup that won the "People's Choice" award at a car show in 2009. I am only its 3rd owner. The engine is a 283 V8 with a manual 3-speed tranny on the floor. The engine is newly re-built, bored out .60 over. The carb is re-built and the radiator is recored. The engine starts easy and runs out great. The body is very solid with no rust. The paint is good but not clear coated so there are small bubbles (like sand in paint) in some areas, but not noticeable. The wood in the bed looks good but there is a small amount of decay in the front near the cab. All gauges work except speedometer and odometer. All lights and signals work.
