This is a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT in excellent used condition. I am the original owner of this vehicle - I purchased it new from a Ford dealership in September 1998. The vehicle was originally for day-to-day use but I have used as a second vehicle (i.e., camping/skiing trips) off and on for the last six years. The Explorer is in great condition. It has a few minor scratches and dings – all are very small, no body damage or paint problems beyond normal wear and tear. I had one minor accident several years ago but insurance paid for the Ford dealership to complete all necessary repairs; no internal or external issues as a result. It has no rust and has been garaged…and we have generally nice weather year-round in the southwest. The only interior flaw is cracked leather on the console (see photos). A local Ford dealer recently completed an oil change and filter replacement; it passed multi-point inspection and rated in very good condition.
