Vehicle Detail
An all original example of a 1976 BMW 3.0Si Sedan. This is probably the nicest unrestored example in existence. It is a Southern California car with just over 40000 miles. The 3.0Si was the final version of the Bavaria model. Chaminox White paint with a stunning red leather interior. These last cars came from the factory with a very high spec: Full leather interior with wood trim Power windows - front & rear Power sunroof Alloys Wheels Air Conditioning Becker Stereo/Grand Prix-signal seeking/with power antenna (all working and original sounds great) 4 Wheel disc brakes Telescope steering wheel Rear arm rest Original spare tire and tool kit Clock Height and tilt adjust fro drivers seat Still has the original break in sticker on front windshied Still has the original California EPA sticker in front windshield Still wearing it's original California blue plates from 1976 All gauges work! Doesn't run hot Cold A/C Heat works Never driven in bad weather All power windows work! Sunroof works and doesn't leak No fluid leaks No cracks in dash or glass Perfect bumpers New Shocks Fully serviced Bodywork: All original paint is in amazing condition throughout, with only a few minor scratches. Clearly never been All the trim is present and is in great shape with no significant fading or damage. The original alloy wheels are in excellent condition, as is all the glass and emblems. Interior: Beautiful blood red leather is nice and soft, showing only gentle wear. The dash is uncracked and not at all faded. The carpeting and floor mats are immaculate and so is the original headliner. Excellent condition wood trim and door panels. Everything works including the radio, power sunroof and all four windows. Mechanicals: This BMW really does drive like a very low mileage car. There are no unusual noises, clunks or rattles. The engine pulls like a BMW inline-6 should, the transmission has no issues and the steering and suspension feel tight and new. The brakes are also excellent. If you're a BMW enthusiast, you will understand how rare of an opportunity this is. This 3.0 would hold its own at any classic car show. Bid now, because there will not be another like this.On Aug-29-10 at 13:49:22 PDT, seller added the following information: okay so many questions regarding the miles and condition... 1) Yes yes yes those are the correct and original miles. This BMW has all of it's original color coded vacuum lines and everything in the engine compartment is dead new from the factory. The undercarriage has ZERO rust or any signs of wear. 2) Yes yes yes this is the orginal ulterior color and leather. The carpets, wood on doors and dash, radio and speakers and headliner are all original. The door panels are pristine also!! 3) Mechanically this car is dead new!! It has no open issues whatsoever. 4) The valance below the front bumper is perfect as well as the one below the rear bumper. Not dented or scraped. 5) The chrome around the windows, door handles and mirrors GLOWS!! 6) No smoke at all even at first morning start up. No shake thru steering wheel or clunking over bumps. 7) The door jams and trunk gasket area are pristine clean and no greasy stuff. Just white and clean. This is the only vintage BMW sedan from the 70's that I have seen in this condition in the last 20 years! Come inspect it or send someone if you don't trust the photos. The car is devastating and can't be duplicated. There are plenty of 2002 models to be had but I have never seen a 3.0SI with this low miles and Rust Free.
