I love this car, it has been in the family since at least 1984 and I finally got my hands on it in 2006. It has an electric top that works well. Since I picked it up I have had some frame work done on it and some general maintenance as well as new tires last year. I have put under 2,000 miles on it since May 2006, mostly around the town on those convertible days. As you can see from the photos it is a good looking car for its age but it is not perfect, not fully restored. Here is what I know about it: It is a 43 year old car that runs well. It has an oil leak, I would say probably normal seal work needed. This has a 205 straight 6 engine. It had a manual transmission but when my sister had it they had an automatic transmission put in the vehicle so it was easier to drive. I still have the old tranmission and would include that with the vehicle. I think because of this it also leaks some transmission fluid. Something I just keep an eye on. Year before last someone backed into the drivers side rear quarter panel when I was driving through a parking lot, had it repaired but that is why there is a very slight variation in paint color in the rear portion of the car. It has an after market air conditioning unit in it but I have not run it, don't think it currently works but it has not been a problem for me. The roof and interior were replaced when my sister had it, roof still ok but showing signs that it will need another soft top in the future. Please ask more questions, want to make sure I answer anything I can about the car before it is purchased. In short it is a fun around the town car that needs the kind of maintenance that a 43 year old car would need.
