Vehicle Detail
Hello and welcome to my auction. Up for sale here we have a very nicely kept 1 female owner 1995 Volkswagen Cabrio. It has been garage kept for MOST of its life. I'm going to break the car down into categories, as I think it'll be the best way for you to get a good feel of the car. Please take the time to read everything carefully, and if you have any questions, send me an email! This is a NO RESERVE auction so please bid to win! Thanks Engine: The car has 143k miles on it, and runs VERY well. It has the bulletprooof 2.0 engine in it that has no issues to report. It starts right up, runs very smooth, makes good power, and all gauges have nothing but good things to report. Transmission: This car has a manual 5 spd in it (which is a good thing because ALL the autos from this generation are junk) with a good clutch. It shifts well, and has plenty of life left in it. There are no weird noises in any of the gears, forward or reverse. Body: Overall the body on this car is in great shape. The paint has lots of shine to it, and looks very good. It does have a few issues to mention, which are minor. First, the car has stone chips on the front, which is from the highway driving that the owner did back and forth to work. The second is the car has some minor rust down low on the passenger and driver fenders. It's not that bad, but I want to make sure its pointed out so there are no surprises. The top is nearly new, and was done by one of the most well known interior shops in the area. It really is a professional job, and adds quite a bit of value to the car. Its in brand new shape, and won't need to be replaced for many years to come. Interior: The interior is also in VERY nice shape. The front seats have also just been recovered at the same time as the top. The rears have no rips or tears either, but have some small spots on them. It appears to be some kind of splash spill (soda maybe?) that got on the seats. They are very small, and only noticeable when your real close to it. Please see the pics. The door cards are in nice shape, and the carpet is pretty good also. The car has power windows, which all 4 work like they should (another common VW problem). It also has an aftermarket CD player installed in it. Overall though I'd say the interior is in real good shape. Other: The car has just passed PA state inspection within the last 300 miles. The tires are all in good shape, with lots of life left on them as well. Overall, this is a clean Cabrio, in real nice shape. It has an average of less than 10k miles per year, and has been female owned all its life. Its all original, the floorpans have no rust in them, and the top and seats have been replaced. Everything works as it should, and it has nice cold a/c for those days when its just too hot. As with any used car, it is sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. Also, I reserve to end the auction early as I have the car listed elsewhere.
