1955 Buick Special 4 door, V8 engine, Automatic transmission, Power steering and Power brakes. This car is a great find, I drove it one time down my street and it drove nice, the transmission worked great, the power brakes work great, the power steering works great, but it has what sounds like a bad lifter and it was not running well, it stalled in my drive way and now I can't get it to start, I tried jump starting it but the starter just clicks and I don't have the time to fix it so some one is going to get a cool car. It is very solid with no serious rust, There is some surface rust on the floors but but nothing major, You can see some rust starting around some of the moldings but again nothing major. This car is very complete, all of the interior looks original and is in surprising shape for the age all though it does need to be re done, the dash is in nice shape and all of the gauges appear to work. It was last registered in 2007 and still has the original Oregon license plate dated 1956. Every thing works and is a perfect candidate for restoration or get it running again and enjoy it the way it is. Thanks for looking and good luck. On Sep-02-10 at 14:59:49 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions about rust, It does have surface rust on the floor boards and around some trim, but not bad, it does not need any new paneles and the floors are solid.
