You are bidding on a 1985 Honda VF700C Magna. This bike belonged to gramps who passed away and has been just recently brought back to life after 23 years of being covered in the garage. The mileage of 5334 is correct and easily verifiable by viewing the condition of this bike. Any and all concerns about having been sitting for so long have been addressed including but not limited to the following... New tires ( Zero miles), new battery, radiator and cooling system flush, oil change, oil filter change, fuel filter change, hydraulic fluids changed, differential gear oil changed, new fork seals, new spark plugs, carbs completely rebuilt, gas tank removed and steam cleaned, bike washed and waxed. As you can see by the photos, the bike looks like a new one. I have purposely taken pictures of the worst areas of the bike where condensation created small amounts of surface rust or pitting. Please know that any bike with similar mileage will look just as this one does. I am not a detailer nor have the chemicals and solvents to make it look new again but I'm sure with a little time and energy it could be brought back to look new. Again, by studying the pictures you'll notice most everything is close to perfect. There is a small area pictured on top of the headlight that has a few pits but again, not really noticeable unless you're a foot or two away. Everything on the bike works as it should, it starts immediately, runs and drives like new. There are no other concerns like paint chips, dents, torn seats, never fallen over, wrecked etc. The bike is currently registered until April 2011. It has a clear California title. Since the bike is long out of warranty it is sold as is with no additional warranty. The bike is available for viewing at any time here in Southern CA (Fountain Valley, 92708) and is available for a local pickup.
