1972 Triumph GT6 Mark 3 I rebuilt this car from 2003-2005. Since then I have only put a couple of thousand miles on it. It has been garaged since the rebuild and taken out on weekends for short drives. Engine and transmission were rebuilt by an mechanic specializing in Triumph vehicles. Paint color is Ford Denim Blue. Car was stripped down to the tub and frame, sand blasted, and painted. All suspension bushings were replaced. Front and rear valance, driver side floor were replaced. New rotoflex donuts, New camshaft and shocks. All interior panels, carpet, and headliner were replaced. Seats were reupholstered. The inside of the gas tank was treated with Por-15 Fuel Tank Sealer. Spin-on oil filter adapter. New steering wheel with an extension installed to give my legs enough room for heel-toe. Many other parts. I have all the receipts. The odometer got stuck at 40,000 miles and I haven't tried to fix it. Winshield washer pump (manual) doesn't work. The Smith's oil pressure guage is not hooked up, needs plumbing. This is a good daily driver or base for a higher restoration. Engine is very strong and the car is fun to drive. Here is a partial list of parts purchased and installed in this car. For the rear panel, I have the lower and one side trim piece. The other side trim piece is broken in half. I don't have the upper trim piece. I have the trim that goes under the rocker panels, but they need some polishing to look good, so they have not been installed. Also have the rear lower edge trim pieces that are new, but rusted. The are not installed.
