1979 Jeep CJ7 with very hard to find quadra trac system only about 35,000 on engine All photos below taken on aug 24th 2010 This is a great project or parts jeep. We have put a lot of money into it over the 12 years its been going around our family members . It runs great has a 6cyl with all emissions so no problems there. The trans is a Chevy 350 turbo that shifts and works perfectly . This is a Quadra Trec heavy duty full time 4 wheel drive perfect for hard off road use, the transfer cases and rear front ends have been service in the last 100 miles . The tires are BF Goodrich All Trailer with about 100 miles on them . We also had the brake system rebuilt and have stainless steel brake lines. The shocks are Rancho 5000's and all the bushings have been replaced with poly high performance ones . The only problem with the handling is that the jeep sways and bit I think it just needs shims added we had not gotten to that point in the restoration yet but it should be an easy fix. We had the stearing box replaced about 50 miles ago and all wiring reworked . The body is rough and there is a fair bit of rust but the frame looks solid also we did repaint it about 6 years ago when the body was off with PRo15 paint it works amazing . There are a few dress up bits on the jeep as shown in the photos there is a excellent condition flip and fold back seat but there is only one front seat and that's broken. it has a very good condition hard top and solid hard doors there is a soft top with it which seems new but it does smell a bit from being stored near gas cans and I have never put it on the jeep. So all in all if you are looking for a project this would make a great one,we have spent a lot on it already but we are moving and need to sell as we will not have space for it in the new home.
