This is a 300-SEL Mercedes-Benz, comes with sun roof , auto-bucket-seats, power door-locks and windows, Mercedes-mag-wheels,I bought this car on May-5-2003 with 52,000 miles on the Odometer. I sent the car to Beck-Imports of the carolinas to fix any and every thing they could find wrong with the car on March-18-2004 I picked the car up the bill was $6854.32(also note I paid $6100 for the car) I now have $12,954 in the car. Beck fixed or did-Replace Rear Shocks, Replaced the Leaking rear shock absorbers. Replaced both leaking transmission cooler hoses,on the breaks replaced both front calipers, Front break hoses,, front break rotors and front pads. Replaced the rear break hoses, rotors, and pads. This was only 2 or 3 things that was done the bill was 5-pages long and avg-5-6-jobs per page this bill will go to the new owner. Now I droved the car for about 1 year after this andhad to park the car because no gas was getting to the carborator.I was the 3rd owner the first one let it set to long and the gas got gummy clogging up the sending unit so no gas got to the carbrator in 2005 I did not understand this so I bought me another car. The car has sat ther ever since. There is two holes in the passager seat but can be fixed a wire is off a battary box chewed off by something. When this car was running the engine and transmission was very strong, the engine is an in-line 6. I have not notice any dents in the car the bumper has 2 marks on it nothing heavy. I say take care of the gas-to-carb, issue clean this car up make sure nothings bit a wire here or their, with all the repair's I have made you got a car that should last a life time. NO ON THE SIGHT SO IT TOLD ME TO USE 1991 AND DECLOSE IN DISCRIPTION AND THE VIN TOOK AND EBAY MEMBER JUST EMAIL ME ABOUT THIS ISSUE IN MY DISCRIPTION OF MY CAR IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO LIST THIS CAR BECAUSE I COULD NOT GET THE VIN. NUMBER TO TAKE , THE CAR WAS MADE IN GERMANY AS TO THE REASON THE VIN.NO DID NOT TAKE UNDER 1988. I TRIED JUST NOW TO CHANGE THE DISCRIPTION IN MY LISTING AND THE SIGHT WOULD NOT LET ME CHANGE IT. SO THIS CAR IS A 1988 300-SEL AND NOT A 1991 300-SEL FOR THE RECORD. THANKS.
