1962 Buick Skylark Convertible Alpine White with red vinyl interior. It has a 215cid aluminum V-8 with a four barrel carburator and a 2 speed powerglide (automatic) transmission. The car does not have power steering or brakes and I have NEVER had a overheating problem with this car. The car has 80,192 original miles and runs great. The Convertible top is electric and in perfect cosmetic and working condition, and the rear window is plastic and crystal clear. The exterior was repainted by the first owner (I am the third) but still looks very good. There is no bondo on the car, you can put a magnet anywhere on the body. There are no dents or dings. The chrome is in good condition with only some minor pitting. The drivers seat has had the center bottom panel repaired, and is showing some wear, the rest of the interior is original and in very good condition. It has the factory AM radio that works perfectly. The dash is in perfect condition with no cracks or tears, however the clock does not work. The tires (5) are in like new condition. The exhaust system will need to be replaced. There is a small bit of rust surfacing on the rear valence. (around the reverse lights) Overall this car is a beautiful piece of Detroit iron that never fails to turn heads and get the thumbs up as you drive down the street with the top down and the wind in your hair the way your dad did.
