Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 2002 Mustang GT convertible conversion. It was originally a plain jane, but now has all the looks of the GT with the gas mileage of a 6 cyl. It gets 24 mpg!! For some reason when you run the title through Vehix, it says it was a rebuild, but I have a clean title with no notation of any title brands. It was hit in the rear at a stop light and the passenger airbag popped. That's the only thing I can think of that would trigger anything, but all it did was crack the bumper, the bumper support wasn't replaced when the new bumper was put on. Now the goodies...it has a complete Alpine stereo system. All factory speakers replaced with Alpine and an Alpine IDA-X200 head unit. The unit has a full speed IPOD cable, so plug your IPod in and use the head unit to control it. The unit is also bluetooth and HD radio ready. In the trunk is a set of Kenwood 12" subs throwing the bass. The unit goes to 36 on the volume scale, and I have never had it over 22 because it's that loud. The Pony rides on a set of 22" Bigg Hit rims and lo pro tires. The rims and tires are only 4 months old and have about 600 miles on them. I have a $400 set of HID headlights with angel eyes that I will throw in. I also have a Knight Rider kit for the hood and a set of custom rear turn signals if you're interested. I also have a set of 17" Cobra rims that I can throw in incase you want to drive the car year round. The top is in really good shape and to my knowledge doesn't leak. I store it in the winter, and keep a car cover over it when it isn't being driven. Now the flaws...I hit a dog a month ago, and seperated the front bumper from the body line. The bumper is not cracked or damaged, and doesn't look bad at all, it just needs pulled off and reattached. I had it appraised at the local body shop to be done for $250. Also, the rear bumper is starting to flake its paint. I think when the bumper was repainted, it doesn't look like the paint was baked long enough, or even at all. It still has a lot of shine and looks good, but the bumper will have to be repainted, another $300. That's why I'm throwing in the headlights, to offset these flaws. I am selling because I'm getting married and I have to sell the bike or the car...my bike has a single seat, the car has 2, common sense says get rid of the car!!! I have $2200 in the rims and $1400 in the stereo. I'm asking $5500 but am open to reasonable offers. Thanks for looking.
