Vehicle Detail
1961 Porsche 356 B Super 90 Time for this baby to be restored, but I have too many balls in the air. I have owned this car for more than 25 years. The car was in good running condition at the time that I last put it in storage. I'm selling because I have a 356A that I want to restore instead. There goes my time... Mileage says 08790, but I'm sure that it must be 108790. Engine turns freely, I may try to start it this week if I can find a battery. There is rust thats needs to be dealt with. Typical floor pans should be replaced. Lower passenger door skin looks like Bonnie & Clyde after the ambush. The front nose under the bumper was repaired poorly at one time, and needs to be redone. Battery box needs replaced. Drivers door jamb is dented. All sheet metal is readily from suppliers like Stoddard or KLASSE356. I priced the panels that I would probably replace at about $1800. Car has matching numbers. I have a bumper that I believe is the rear. Dash appears complete. All glass is present and accounted for. Based on other pictures I've seen of this model, I think that most of the chrome & trim is there except on the bumpers & missing drivers window crank (I may have it in my shop, if so it goes with the car) PLEASE NOTE -Sorry, the luggage rack on the engine compartment is NOT INCLUDED. Please email any questions. Title is clear. The car is for sale locally. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I can assist to arrange. Local pickup ok.On Aug-25-10 at 08:45:10 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE !!! Based on the VIN # and the production charts, this car was probably manufactured in 1960. However it is titled as a 1961 and advertised as that. One bidder has also indicated that this may be a Super model, and not a Super 90. I was told when I bought it that the motor was a Super 90, and have always thought so, but it does only have the "Super" insignia on the rear. Therefore, although I believe it is a Super 90, I cannot guarantee that it is. Please bid accordingly. Please email any questions you may have and I will try to answer as best as possible
