This 1970 Bug Convertible was restored by the previous owner from the frame up to be used as a daily driver since completed in 2003. He spent over $14K during the restoration. I purchased the car in April 2008 with approximately 7,600 miles as a fun weekend driver, currently it has 9,150 miles on the rebuilt engine. Engine rebuilt to original 1600cc specs in 2003 (by previous owner). Previous owner put on new top, custom upgrade to carpets and upholstery, AM/FM/CD with sub-woofer under rear seat, customized rear speakers and front speakers installed flush to carpet on bulkhead. 7 inch chrome rims custom made to offset inward keeping 8 inch tires completely under fenders. This little car gets lots of looks, but unfortunately, I just don't get to drive it much, and it deserves to be driven! The engine runs excellent, I haven't had any problems, and it has remained covered during my ownership. Please contact me with questions - inquiries from serious buyers only.
