Vehicle Detail

I have listed the car before, but did not have a DZ motor that went with it. I was recently able to obtain an original DZ 302 block, that is date coded correctly to this car. I was told that the block has been bored .30 over. Also, the motor that is currently in the car has the original DZ heads, which have the correct stamping and correct date codes. I was told by the previous owner that the crank is also the original DZ unit, but have not pulled the pan to verify. I put a few photographs of both in the auction. Here is a great restoration project, a real 69 Z28, X77 D80 code. It was originally frost green with a dark green interior, as indicated on the cowl tag. The front fenders and hood are fiberglass pieces, however, all the factory mounts for factory body panels have been untouched, (still has correct radiator support, etc.). I have one spare fiberglass fender, two fiberglass front valances, one steel front valance, and a stock 69 Camaro steel hood (hood needs some work). The bad: The quarters need replaced, along with the center trunk panel, the deck panel, panel below rear window, and rear panel. The good is that the frame rails look rust free and there is very little rust on the floors. I tried to take photos showing the condition of all the panels, but I can take more and e-mail them at request. The interior is pretty much complete, but for the dash pad, although the interior will need redone. There is a muncie 4 speed in the car with an aftermarket hurst shifter. The 12 bolt rear was taken out at one time and it now has a 10 bolt. The title is clear and ready to be transferred to the new buyer. Look at what other project Z28s have been selling for and you can see I have set the buy it now to be very reasonable on this very rare and collectible car. This is the badest muscle car ever built!! If you have any questions, please give me a call at 501-410-3229 or just e-mail me. The photo of the restored Camaro is NOT this car, just found a photo of a Z28 with the same paint as this one has, so this is what it would look like. Thanks for looking!
