Rare Vanagon Westfalia Weekender, Wolfsburg edition. Renovated interior and exterior are drop-dead-gorgeous, 115K miles, current CA smog & registration (August 2011), and updated styling.In its original condition this van was very clean:LOW MILEAGE van with 115K original milesThe pop-top’s original gel coat is in AMAZING conditionIt has ALL of its original curtains, tie-backs, screens, and shadesThe original bumpers are absolutely straightThe engine passed California smog first time through Since then a few things have been improved.The exterior of the van is now in “like new” condition. The van’s been stripped to its shell and had a quality 2-stage paint job applied in the original metallic bronze color. The older style headlights and mirrors have been updated to those from a ’91 Vanagon Carat. A new GoWesty! 3 window tent, front windshield, running lights, and Mercedes 15” rims with BF Goodrich T/A KO’s round out the “2010” exterior. The interior has been significantly updated. All of the seats and cushions have been RE-UPHOLSTERED, matching the original front tan velour fabric as closely as possible. The original brown dash has been updated to black from a ’91 Vanagon Carat and a new Pioneer iPod/CD deck installed. New insulation and vibration dampening foam tape installed behind body panels to quite the ride. GoWesty! custom embroidered mats are included for both the front and passenger areas of the van. The complete set of original curtains have been laundered, and include all new heavy duty hooks (with spares!). Climate control ducts were cleaned and serviced when the dash was replaced. I will consider personally delivering the van anywhere in the U.S. for the pre-paid cost of fuel, food, and return fare.
