this is a matching numbers original ss chevelle. Both the engine and trans have the vin number stamped on them. The car sat in a garage on jackstands since 1984 until i bought it and went thru the entire brake, steering, engine and trans. the engine still had the original gm stamped bearings in it. The car has power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning. The air has not been charged as i have not found enough freon yet. The engine was completely rebuilt with all new parts as well as the trans. I only replaced the seat covers and carpet in the interior as all the rest of the interior was in great shape, the dash pad does have a small crack in it that could be repaired. this car was built to drive not as a show car. This car had no rust in it at all when i got it. The undercarraige had dealer installed undercoting on it so i did not do much to the underside except for spraying one coat of bedliner on it. This is a base coat clear coat finish. There is less than 500 miles on it since it was rebuilt so barely broke in.
