Vehicle Detail
1989 Chevy C-60 crew cab flatbed, Alcoa aluminum rims, new 8R 19.5 tires all the way around. Western Hauler conversion truck. Has the 427 gas w/5 spd, 2spd rearend, disc brakes front and rear, so it drives like a pick-up. Body is in good condition, no bad rust, paint looks decent, but is not fresh, interier was super fancy in it's day, lots of woodgrain and extras, starting to show it's age too---Has a hidaway gooseneck hitch, and a reciever also----Spring suspension, vac. brake (well under CDL) Issues...2spd rearend does not shift...has a new motor and elec board under there, I'm sure it's prob. something easy, I just drive it in high for now, never got around to checking it out. Speedo does not work..I'm told the two are probably liked, and therefore, the same problem. Small oil leak, looks like the press. sending unit to me. Other than that, it does run good (could use plugs/wires etc) and drive out good, the 6 new tires have less than 500 mi on them ($1650 not installed, not caps, all matching rubber) Clutch, brakes, exhaust etc all in good shape also. Has an aftermarket CD player in the overhead console, nice seats and carpet, solid flatbed, and dual saddle tanks (33 gal each) Does have 1 spot of rust on the drivers rocker, (see pics) and the lower body (silver) metal has some starting through. I've had this truck for a year or so, was planning to daily drive it, then had it sold, guy never showed up to pay for it, so it sat in the back except for a week last month when my other truck was in the shop, worked good around here locally for the week I drove it, but I've never had it out over an hour away from home. Clear title in my name---Take a look, ask me any questions, Thanks
