1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. (THERE IS NO RESERVE IN THIS AUCTION).Very nice car in a rare color (AR547-Cabernet Red Metallic). Engine rebuilt (head / valves, new cylinders and pistons, bearings etc.) in 2007. New water pump. New master cylinder and slave cylinder. Newer Michelin Agility tires (>80% tread left). New starter. Alpine stereo and Kenwood speakers. Lower ball joints done. Have the orig. window sales sticker from 1989. Second owner bought the car in 1990 I believe, and have all major receipts from that point on. Motor mounts new. This car is very nice. Top has been replaced w/ a fabric top, and it is in extremely good condition. This car has had anything it has ever needed taken care of. Nothing is dodgy. Now the bad. The driver seat needs some re-stitching on the bottom, and needs a replacement piece of leather on the bolster when you get in the car (see photos). The leather needs feeding. There is a little parking lot rash, normal. A quarter panel was smacked in 2002, and a new panel was installed and the full car got a paint job (orig. color). Impossible to tell which panel got hit. Have all receipts for prof. paint and body. This is a VERY nice car, but not perfect. It is 21 years old. This may be as close to a mechanically new Alfa Spider Veloce as you can get now. This is a great car, and the only reason that I'm selling it is to help finance my senior year in college and pay for the body and paint for a Fiat 124 Sport Coupe race project I've got going now. I've owned 5 Alfa's before this one, and this is by far the nicest I've had. Email me with questions and I'll answer ASAP.
