Vehicle Detail

These Honda single cam models were the bikes that changed everything in a world where big bikes were 650cc and 750cc BSA and Triumphs. Honda put the world on its ear with the inline four cylinder CB750. First bikes to have crankshaft connecting rods like a car with end caps bolted on and plain bearings that could be replaced. Smooth and fast even by today's standards. Still great bikes to ride as far as you like or just cruise it to the shows. What makes these very cool vintage bikes in my eye is they are still very functional, yet old school vintage. This bike is very original as you can see; it has not been chopped up and modified like most of them. This bike has all of the original parts which saves tons of time and money for someone looking for the original OEM parts. The header pipes on this one are above average with very nice chrome. Mufflers have some holes in them but looking at the pictures you can see where repairs to the pipes could be done and not be seen from the viewers angle - the sections needing repair are underneath. I love the paint skeem on this bike - beautiful candy red. The inside of the tank is very clean; the side covers are very nice with no cracks and the emblems are in great shape. The headlight bucket is straight and the ears are not bent. Pipes have the original baffels which is nice because most of them have been taken out and lost. Also the original handbook is here under the seat as well as the tool kit which is also hard to find. Seat is not ripped and in very nice condition. The bike has very low miles and feels tight going down the road. Transmission shifts smooth. The front brake has been rebuilt and has good feel. Tires are very good and holding air. Sounds great, runs very good, over all a very nice older Honda single cam. The bike obviously has been in storage all these years and does have some rusting chrome and oxidation on the the aluminum parts. There is some rust on the outside of the gas tank. The silver paint on the engine is flaking in some spots. There is a small dent in one of the real turn signals which is easily replaced. Most of these older bikes - unless kept in a perfect environment - have this type of oxidation issue; it's just going to happen when they are this old. The bike is a good running complete fine example of a great model Honda shocked the world with. Please look at all the pictures and ask any and all questions before you bid. The purchase is final at the end of the auction so be sure you have the funds and follow the instructions for payment and pick up. Thanks for looking!
