Though the term is thrown around quite often….very few individuals really seem to truly understand what the phrase “no hit” Corvette should exemplify. However that is not the case with this particular classic Corvette. This one is a TRUE documented, low mileage {CAR FAX CERTIFIED} no hit vehicle in every sense of the word! The body of this one is very straight and all of factory {inner and outer} seams can still be traced along the inner body lines. The doors shut extremely nice and there are no sagging panels along the exterior. The factory correct mirrored T-tops are in great shape and the original Astro -Vent glass is in very nice condition as well. This well preserved classic has only been repainted once {outside of its factory covering}. It was completely stripped and then taken back to its original {75 Code- 1981 Corvette Rally Red} paint scheme in 2008. The overall finish is extremely nice & the color is pretty much exact to the original shade. Compliments are more than plentiful each and every time this Corvette leaves the garage. The factory correct {672 code red leather interior} almost has to be seen to be truly appreciated! The seats & carpet are brand new {including the seat foam}. The new seats are firm, crisp…yet very comfortable. The cockpit is beautiful and the overall interior presents itself very well. I would also like to mention “this Corvette is equipped with working power locks and windows” . The factory 15x8 Rally wheels are all original and still look extremely nice {no reproductions here}. I recently installed new lug nuts {from Ecklers} just to make sure that the wheels looked as nice as the rest of the car. The Rally’s are wrapped in fairly new Goodyear Eagle GT raised white letter wide track performance tires! The wheel and tire combonation looks aggressive & provides excellent handling! The turn signals indicators work both inside and out. The head lights still function exactly like they are supposed to along with the wipers & the other gauges. This Corvette also has “ NO RUST ISSUES” to speak of and the frame is rock solid. The brakes are in great shape and the car runs extremely cool. The am/fm radio is in proper working order also. This Corvette is a great representation of a unmolested Chevy Corvette. *NOTE* This classic Corvette is a rare true red ext./red int. 82,000 mile two owner vehicle{ CAR FAX INCLUDED}! The mileage and ownership will be backed up with documentation. This time capsule also still has its original{Y-F5} California smog pump! The car was built especially for a certain individual {whose name will be made manifest to the new owner} the name plate is still on the console. Everything about this one says it is a special vehicle! The original block is in tact and it still doesn’t miss a beat! The motor is strong and more free flowing than any 1981-1982 Corvette that I have driven {I inspected plenty before I purchased this vehicle}. I did add new valve covers, radiator cap, air cleaner ducts and a few other factory parts. The automatic transmission shifts excellent & this 81 starts without hesitation. THE CAR IS A SHEER PLEASURE TO DRIVE! Mobil one has only been used religiously in regards to its oil changes and the fluids have been consistently flushed.
