1979 Triumph Bonneville

Up for bids is a 1979 triumph bonneville. This bike is in nice condition. The paint is new and is flawless. Chorme is shinny and wthout flaws except the tintiest amount of pitting on top of headlight and a glitch on the back of front fender where I believe it rubbed against a crash bar at one time. You can hardly see it but I will mention it. Rims are nice with a few rust spots on some of the spoke ends. Mufflers are brand new( a few days old). Tires are good but show a little "ckecking" on sides. Has the orginial triumph seat and is in great condition with no rips. All electricals work. All indicator lights work. Runs and shifts as it should. Starts on 2 kicks. Brakes and clutch work as they should. This bike has quite a few new parts including new fork tubes and seals, new petcocks, side emblems,tach drive gears gas lines, front brake hose new fluids, new air cleaners.It has been detailed to a high standard ( even underside of fenders is clean). The rear shocks have been detailed and have new chrome springs. Bike is showing 12,000 miles and I belive this is correct has the speedometer and tach work, however the trip reset does not work. Is this a SHOW bike, no, but it is a high driver class. Look at pictures and you will see the time and detail spent on this bonneville. The bike is sold as is being as old as it is but as of today I know of nothing wrong. It is very pretty. Be glad to answer any questions. Will help with shipping or local pickup will work.
