Looking for something out of the ordinary? How about a truck that can out accelerate all but the most extreme domestics and exotics from 0 -60 interest you. With a 0- 60 of 4.6 seconds (even in the rain), thanks to it's AWD system, and turbocharged 4.3 litre V-6. A limited production vehicle, with less than 3000 ever made. And for those in the know, you dont race one unless you are ready to lose. On the turbo, his thing has all the subtlety of a loose wrecking ball, otherwise, it's as docile as a Buick. Up for your consideration is this beautiful 1991 GMC Syclone. Lightly used, mature owned, but not a garage queen, with an average use of only 3k mi per year, it's definitely a driver, with enough miles to keep all the seals and moving parts lubricated. Everything works great on this truck, from the cold a/c, to the brakes. It is in stock mechanical condition, with only a few smart upgrades. The original am/fm cassette player has been replaced with the factory correct Delco am/fm CD player with equalizer for that year, and Kenwood speakers all the way around. I upgraded to a Derale transmission pan cooler during the recent driveline service, but the original pan goes with the truck, as does the original radio. The 60k mi driveline service has recently been performed, which included the flushing and filling of the transmission, transfer case, and both differentials with Royal Purple synthetic. The upgraded transmission pan holds 1 extra quart, plus has cooling tubes built in to help keep transmission temps down. The engine has seen nothing but Castrol Syntec, less than 6 mos. on the plugs, cap and rotor, fuel filter, and copper ceramic brake pads. About 4 years, or 12k miles on the battery, K&N air filter, and Kumho Ecsta tires. 2 years on the heater core. The truck has always been garage kept and only taken out on the best of days. It definitely is an attention getter, and gets comments almost everytime I take it out. I would rate it a 9 out of 10, but that's just my opinion. The original paint, body, glass, cladding and interior is in Very, Very, Very Good condition, with only a few very small specs from what would be considered normal road wear for a 60k mi, but very well cared for vehicle. The windshield wipers, cruise control, tilt, seats, heater, lights, electric windows and door locks all work well. The engine builds a full 15 psi of boost quickly, and the transmission shifts firmly. The only problem I can think of is the tubing for the lumbars has corroded. The hand pumps go with the truck if you wish to replace the tubing. I always thought the seats were quite comfortable the way they are. I invite you to come out and take a look, or ask any questions you may have. Included also is, the owners manual, factory service manual, the Chilton CD rom service manual, the original window sticker, original sales brochure and poster, extra fog light lenses (just in case), "Syclone" windshield decal, new Profile bug shield (good looking, but never installed), new matching numbers Syclone wristwatch, Syclone "Worlds fastest production based truck" poster, 1 extra cap and rotor, a few other extras, 2 sets of keys, and a clear title. On the road? It starts quick, runs smooth and quiet, rides like a Cadillac, but accelerates like a Corvette. I feel confident you could drive this truck cross country, or I can assist in transporting it to the local DAS, or other transport service for shipping if desired.
