Up for bidding is a 1953 Packard 300 Cavalier sedan. this car is a beautiful example of 1950s Packard quality and style. this car sat in a barn for 30 years until it was saved 5 years ago. this car runs and drives and is great on trips around town or to the drive in. plenty of space for the family and friends. no need to worry about the brakes, because they have been completely professionally replaced; including the power brake booster. new exhaust, new shocks, new tires, new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, gas tank dipped and coated. this car is mechanically all ready to go! engine ticks lightly as most of these old flathead engines are known for,(lifter clatter) but runs very strong! engine is a straight 8 L head 327ci "flatty". plenty of get up and go, and the "ultramatic" transmission shifts flawlessly through its gears. you will love driving this beautiful car. 75% of the floor has also been replaced! so no need to worry about patching that up! just get yourself some new carpet and you are well on your way to having a great looking interior. the seat covers are red and white vynal, but the front seat has some tears. the door panels match the seats and are in great shape. the body of this car is very intact with the exeption of the rocker panels below the door, which can be replaced very easily. chrome will need replating as it is pitted and some rust also. some of the hubcaps not pictured, but i believe all of them are presant. you will be pleased with this car, and it wont take much else to restore this to beautiful condition that is deserves. feel free to ask me anything about the car, or for a test drive. selling this for a friend, happy bidding!
