Vehicle Detail
I have had this truck for a long time, and it's been my baby. I've done a lot to it, and have a folder full of receipts. The odometer only goes up 99,999, so I have no idea how many actual miles the truck has, but it looks like it could be 204,000. At 65,000 miles I installed a 351W crate motor. While the motor was out, we changed a bearing in the transmission, and checked the transfer case chain. The diffs were rebuilt when I had the gears swapped to 4.10. The posi-traction is awesome in the snow! It's got a Bronco gas tank in addition to the tiny stock 17 gallon tank. PIAA Off road lights Ultra alloy wheels with Mickey Thompson radials 33x12.5 When I installed the new motor, I installed a pre-lube system that I pieced together, so that when you start it up it has oil pressure immediately. I installed a special Trasko oil filter designed with Subaru that filters down to the smallest particles. I had the headers, and Edelbrock intake Jet-Hot coated. Edelbrock aluminum valve covers. Updated distributor eliminated the Ford crank sensor distributor. Jacobs Ignition with theft protection. On the inside, I put in after market power windows, and door locks. I swapped out the bench seat for a custom 60/40 bench seat with console. It was top of the line at the time I installed it, but it has a JVC AM/FM/Cassette CD changer. The year I got the truck was the same year that Colorado started using mag chloride on the roads, and it has chewed up the front quarter panels, and parts of the bed. The rear fenders are fiberglass, though. There is no reserve, and it will go to highest bidder. Thanks for looking!
