FOR SALE: 2006 Corvette Coupe VIN: 1G1YY26U465115173 400 HP LS-2, A6 Auto w/ paddle shifters Monteray Red w/ tan leather, 61k miles 3LT equipment package, loaded! Power everything, including both seats Dual Climate Control, Heated Seats Heads Up Display, Navigation Memory Package, Bose Premium Sound Glass Roof Panel, High Polished Wheels On-Star, XM Satellite Radio GM Certified, transferable warranty Well, I was going to trade/sell this one when I bought my new truck in January. At the last second I changed my mind and kept it, but I can tell you that making three car payments is not nearly as fun as it sounds! So this sweet C6 is being offered for sale. This is not an ultra low mileage car that has been sitting around with gaskets, seals, hoses and belts dry-rotting from non-use. At just over 58k miles, she is just getting broken in and still has some warranty left just in case, about 5 months and 40k miles. She has recently had a new battery installed, and the only warranty work I've had done was replacing the fuel sending unit. Both issues are common problems and both are now fixed. I bought her about 16 months ago as a GM certified and she has the balance of the 5 year/100k mile factory warranty, but it's also nice to know that she was recently GM certified by one of the leading Corvette dealers in the country, Criswell Performance/Chevrolet. This vette is easily good for another 150k miles. Most people don't ever get there because they just want the status symbol in their garage and don't realize how great a car they have rotting away in there. There are a few small scratches as you will find on any car that actually leaves the garage, but this one does not have a lot of road rash and is very clean for a 60k mile car. And they all have marks somewhere, even the garage queens. The difference here is I want to make sure you know about them while most others are praying you don't notice until after it's too late. These marks are small and hard to find without being pointed out, she's as beautiful in person as she is in the pictures. I am very confident to say that you won't find a mechanically better vette. Everything about this car works and the Carfax is clean. Service since I have owned it has been done at Williams Chevy in Elkton, MD. She has no mechanical issues and the brakes and tires are good to go. She has never been modified in any way. The only non-stock items in/on her is the black floor mats and Optima Yellow Top battery. I have the original tan floor mats and they will go with her although they are dirty and the black mats look significantly better. There's not really a lot to say about her, she is exactly what you would expect from a new Corvette. The drivers side seat also has a little wear on the seam of the left side bolster, the normal spot. It's kinda small and my camera won't take good enough close-ups to show it in pictures. She has a lot of highway mileage as she's been to Niagra Falls, Cape Cod, and Charleston SC multiple times, as well as all over the tri-state area. 400 HP and 30 MPG on the highway, it's hard to find a reason not to take her on trips! I will be jumping back into another C5 very soon, just not with a payment. That's the only reason I'm selling this one. It's the highest of my three car payments. Some people probably thought it was a little bold last year when I said the 02 coupe I was selling was the best vette on here for the money, but the lucky winner of that one agrees. I will say it again, this is the best 2006 vette on eBay under $30k. It's not showroom condition, those cars are about $10k higher priced than my starting bid, but you should not be disapointed if you are lucky enough to win this auction. I should be available all evenings and this weekend if you would like to see her in person, and I may be able to deliver to the winner but can not arange shipping otherwise. Any questions, shoot me a message. TERMS AND CONDITIONS The buyer is responsible for any and all shipping arrangements and cost. I require a nonrefundable $1,500 deposit by Pay-Pal within 24 hours of auction closing. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction closing. Payment must be made in certified funds.
