Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1966 Dodge Power Wagon WM300. I purchased this truck last june here on ebay, the truck was located in Seattle Washington and I had it shipped to the east coast (Upstate NY). The truck is a true survivor it was owned by the city of Seattle for their power and electric department. It has 26,000 original miles and has not been taken over by rust, my intention was to work on it with my father but another project has taken precedence. The truck as you can see in photos is still fully operable and was maintained quite well over the years. I have owned many classic vehicles and its my belief your best starting with a solid original foundation with everything visible so you know what's exactly there. I have pulled other vehicles from Washington State and Oregon and have found the metal is not rusted as there is no use of salt on the roads etc.... The truck operates fine and drives well, I have stored it in my garage and never registered it. The truck came to me needing a throw out bearing for the clutch and I have not replaced it, so that is needed. The throw out bearing makes a noise so this would be a mechanical priority to drive it around. The engine is strong and starts right up, it has records of regular maintenance by the town garage. The pictures speak for its condition and any questions that need to be answered will be answered via email or phone conversation. This vehicle is for sale locally and may be taken down from this auction if it sells. Included in the photos is the original title for the truck so its new owner will technically be the second owner. This power wagon is a very desirable year and would be a great truck to restore or preserve. I can help with shipping arrangements and the truck can be stored inside my garage until it is picked up. This truck is being sold as is. Please contact me with any questions. On Aug-12-10 at 18:20:52 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer many questions all at once...... The winch works great (smooth operation In & Out) , 4wd (transfer case) engages properly. One of the wind shield panels is cracked (Drivers Side) also missing wiper motor (Driver Side) I purchased this truck for the No Rust factor and its year (1966) you don't see many late models like this around, plus some modern advantages..... vacuum brake booster.... etc.. The truck is a time capsule, perfect candidate to preserve or restore. Thank You for your interest in the truck.....
