****Beautiful 1968 Mustang**** This car is a real eye catcher. I am always getting compliments on it. I am very sad to let it go but, I recently purchased a chevelle and need the space. The car runs pretty good and starts right up. I purchased it about 6 months ago in Atlanta, GA. and drove it all the way home, with the intention of restoring it and putting a 351 windsor in it. But just dont have the time. I have already replaced numerous items: Battery, alternator, ignition switch, voltage regulator. I have some brand new window cranks for it that I just purchased that are included in on the auction. Below is my personal opinion on exactly the condition of this mustang: Interior: The interior of this car is in excellent shape. The carpets are in great condition. All of the gauges work fine. The seats are in good shape. The headliner is in great shape. I would say the only problem with the interior is the dash is warped from the sun. I was going to replace that but didn't get to it. I have new window cranks and knobs for the car and they are included in on the auction. I even have the original pamplets from the factory in the glove box. I also have a car cover for the car that is included in the auction! Exterior: The exterior of the car is in pretty good shape for the year. Some rust spots which is normal in the normal locations but should be easily repaired by a skilled pair of hands they make patch panels for those spots I was going to buy myself but again no time and they are really cheap. Paint is in ok shape but like I said the rust spots need to be repaired I would say whoever painted last time didnt do a great job on prep. If your looking for a decent start this car is for you. The vinyl top is in excellent shape it actually looks like someone replaced it at sometime. The wheels are in great shape and look real nice on the car. Please no tire kickers the car is a steal I just need the space. If you have any questions about the car call me and I will be happy to send you plenty of pics to make sure you are happy with the car. Mechanically: The engine is a 6 cyl. but runs pretty good. I only had one problem with the car since I bought it and it was the battery needed to be replaced. Like I said I drove it up from Atlanta, Ga. Transmission is in good shape. All the electronics work in the car. The under side of the car is very solid. This car was very well maintained through the years. I also replaced the battery, alternator, voltage regulator, ignition switch and silinoid. This car will make one hell of a start to any direction you want to go with a project car.
