Hello, I really hate to sell this car because it has been so much fun!! I have nearly $30k in receipts of restoration work and upkeeping of whats been done to it. The 2002tii was the predecessor to the M3 and highly regarded as one of the most iconic cars that BMW ever made. This tii was fully restored in the mid 90s and no expense was spared! The car was fully repainted the original Granatrot Methallic color costing nearly $7k and looks great! The car is sprayed with hydraulic oil in the winter time and stored indoors to prevent rusting. The interior was completely redone and looks spectacular! Gorgeous momo steering wheel with air horns too! The engine was completely rebuilt and rebored by BMW professionals at Greenfield Imports who specialize in the 2002s of this era. The engine was rebuilt to European spec with high compression 10:1. The fuel injection was replaced with high performance Weber Carbs which are easy to adjust and add performance too. It also has the newer and larger Beher Radiator that came in the e30 models. All of the injection manifolds are included in case you want to reinstall the fuel injection, the pump howver is broken and long gone now. The car also has all newer Bilstein suspension which handles great and drives very smoothly too! There is no rot on the car, some light rust patches here and there but nothing that is noticable or of concern, the underside of the car reveals no rust issues either. The floor boards and trunk were repaired during the restoration with new pans. There was a little bit of rust around the rear wheel wells that was also repaired, nothing major but it had to be addressed. The battery has been moved to the truck for better weight distribution. The car also has a factory sunroof which works great! The car has newer BBS rims with Yokohama tires that still have 80% life. The brakes are in great condition too. Also has a nice Zender front spoiler. The only issues I can think of is that the stereo needs to be connected, its missing 6x9 speakers in the rear which are very easy and cheap to to replace. The mechanism for the passenger vent window needs to be repaired, it doesnt open or close properly. The wire connections for the horn needs to be cleaned or checked, just lately the horn has been honking by itself randomly, the wires are disconnected for the time being. The partical board inside the center console was broken at one point but repaired nicely. The gas pedal is a little loose and needs to either be repaired or mounted correctly, its only the pedal itself and not the rod. I still drive it just fine the way it is but I'd recommend fixing it. The dash does have the usual crack in it that most of these cars fall victim to. Overall its a nice driver as-is but I feel as though it could benefit from a tune up. Other than that the car is a blast to drive and quite reliable, I've driven on 5 hour car rides to NY many times with no issues whatsoever, its really fast and gets alot of thumbs up every where you go! The milage on the car is 139,000 and has about 20k since the restoration. It has a valid MA title and driven regularly on weekends and never beat on. I'll also throw in an Ansa high performance exhaust too and car cover. I tried to describe it the best I can without going into every single detail, there may be some very minor flaws I overlooked but nothing that isn't simple to tidy up.
