This is my 1985 Mercedes Benz 300CD 2 Door Coupe, 3.0 Litre, 5 Cylinder Turbo Diesel offered. This vehicle has been meticulously maintained, with an accurate 232,871 highway,pampered,miles on the odometer.The exterior color is Silver and the interior is Navy Blue.This was one of the best MB made in 1985.This is also the last year that these W123 coupe vehicles were produced. This automobile has all possible 1985 options by Mercedes-Benz including : power sunroof,power steering, high power am/fm/Cassette,4 speaker stereo sound system,wood trim,yellow fog lights,air conditioning,cruise control, power locks and windows.This Mercedes-Benz is a US vehicle not a grey import.It was purchased new at a dealership in the US and in Florida until March 2010. It is currently parked in a climate controlled garage. The service on the car been maintained at authorized Mercedes Benz service facilities or dealerships.Oil changes were performed regularly and all service is current within the last 1000 miles.The transmission is brand new with less than 1500 miles (obviously it shifts smooth and accurately). The front end and rear were new at the same time as the transmission(I wanted this to be a daily driver with reliability beyond concern for its age). All instruments function properly except the clock. Windows, sunroof, climate control, cruise control,lights, etc. are fully functional. The air conditioning was converted and is R 134 based. The tires were recently replaced with less than 500 miles on them. All in all the car is very well maintained,the miles are low for the model year and they are highway,pampered miles.I have owned 3 Mercedes Benz automobiles from the 1982 thru 1989 period and this CDT feels tight and smooth with a ride and handling that are signature for the vehicle. The car was serviced regularly and if needed parts were immediately replaced with the original equipment.I originally intended for this to be my everyday auto, running biodiesel and a WVO conversion but circumstances beyond my control have caused me to offer it for sale. There are a couple of extra cosmetic parts that will come with the vehicle (I bought them for possible future use); wood shift knob to match the zebrano and a zebrano center console.
