Time to thin out the fleet, and the Vert is the first to go. Very solid accident free vert. I bought this car about 6 months ago as a project, since then I have gone through the motor, added new heads, carburaters, generator, empi pulleys, new tin, J tubes, turbo tuck exhaust, distributor, cap, rotor, petronix ignitin, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, throttle cable.... etc. The motor runs really nice, has decent power, and gets great gas mileage. The car has a newer erco Transmission that works perfect. No slipping, no popping out of gears, no slop etc.. The wiring was a mess when I got it, I replaced the fuse box and cleaned up the wiring. All of the electrical works minus the horn, and license plate light. I pulled up all of the old tar paper, replaced the pan section behind the drivers seat, wire wheeled the surface rust off of the pans, and put down rust inhibitor. I also added new new tar paper, and new Wolfsburg West Carpet kit. The car has WW triple chrome bumpers, new interior not seat covers actual stitched and done very well. The frame rails are solid but have some rust that can easily be repaired without removal. The rust is very minor (see pictures) All of the convertible parts are there minus the rain tray. (aquiring one now). Has vert rear view mirror, vert passenger mirror (not installed) vert decklid, top latches, and canvas top cover. the top is in working order but needs the header bow replaced. Will still latch closed and is usable, just doesnt sit perfect. Top is dirty in the pics as I never have it up. Over all the car is in good condition, but could use a few finishing touches. Horn hooked up, license plate light fixed, passenger mirror installed, header bow replaced, Black plates (pictured but not registered to the car) new radio installed, windshield replaced.. A fun driver that can be a very nice driver to enjoy as is. The car is listed elsewhere but will not be pulled after day 6. The car is a very good runner, and I would not hesitate to drive it across country. It will run cool all day long at 60-65 mph. I will assist with any shipping, and can deliver to local airports. The gas gauge has been tempermental so the car will come with a gas can just for good measures.
