Vehicle Detail
This is my personal bike that I have had for many years and has every upgrade known to man, I believe. This bike is OEM Honda Andromeda Red in Color and is the orginal paint, the bike runs as good as it looks and if you win the bid on the bike, when you come to pick it up and pay for it ( Cash ), you will absolutely be impressed by the way it looks and the performance and power of the bike. Why am I selling? I am 58 years old and have back problems that has restricted my riding. I have decided to sell my bike, I took the pictures of my bike today 08/07/2010 and posted them in this add.. This bike is in excellent condition, not museum grade but definitely a collector grade. I would rate this bike a 9 out of a 10. It has the usual minor bubbling of the chrome on the wheels, some minor staining on the exhaust covers and some of the usual scuffs on the mufflers, Gas tank is in good condition, no dents. This bike is ready to be picked up and rode any where you want. I have over $10,000.00 invested in this bike. I will list all the upgrades and modifications. The Motor work mods was performed by Dave Dodge Racing in 2007, the Carbs VD70C was completely rebuilt and mildly polished by Billy Carr in June of 2010, after I recieved the Carbs back from rebuild I installed a Dyno Jet Kit and they are spot on!! All Honda V65 Magna's are fast and are not for beginners in my opinion, so if you are a beginner, please do not buy this bike. The motor work was performed by Dave Dodge, Stage Three Cams, Hard Welded Rocker Arms, Adjustable Cam Sprockets, New Updated Cam Chain Tensioners, Transmission Undercutting, DPR racing Valve springs, competition Valve job, DPR top end oil mod, Other upgrades that I have completed are, Barnett Kevlar Clutch with new metal plates,New Honda Clutch spring, K&N Air Filter, New OEM Fuel Pump, New Chrome Front Header Pipes with collector replaced in 2003, Corbin Seat, New Honda OEM front and rear turn signals with New OEM Honda Stays, Honda Yellow 3-wire Rectifer upgrade, New Dyna High Output Coils (DCK1-3) with new plug wires, Napa Echlin FS-130 Fan Stat Upgrade, New Honda OEM Instrument Pilot Box Cover, Progressive Fork Springs, the bike comes with the orignal tool kit. Now for the Chrome - Chrome Fork Brace, Chrome Stabilizer Brace ( 53240-MB4-020) , Chrome Valve Covers, Chrome Grips, Chrome Front Brake and Clutch Levers, Chrome Kick Stand, Chrome High Way Bar with Foot Pegs, Chrome Radiator Trim, Chrome Head Light Stays, Chrome Front Brake Hyd Spliter, Chrome Six Pack with rack, Chrome Air Box Covers, Chrome Speedo/Tach Buckets, Chrome Passanger Peg Mounts, Chrome Clutch Cover with Chrome Allen Head Bolts, Chrome Stator Cover with Chrome Allen Head Bolts, Braided S.S Front Brake Hose, Braided S.S Rear Brake Hose, Braided S.S. Clutch Hose. The Bike has Dunlap D205 Radial Tires ( estimate 1000 miles on them), the Battery replaced two years ago YUASA YTX20H-BS High Performance Maintainance Free. This is why the starting price is $6500.00. I know this bike inside and out, it looks great and it is fast!! Bid with confinence look at my feedback!! Only an experenced rider, please, that is the case with any V65 Magna, they are not for beginners!!! Please email me with any questions. I would rather not ship the bike unless an agreement has been reached before the auction ends between myself and the buyer. So plan on picking up the bike in person if you win the auction. Thanks for looking!!
