A NICE INEXPENSIVE COLLECTOR CONVERTABLE. A rare triple white 1979 VW Beetle convertible (white top, white interior and white paint) - Last year they made the real beetle. Has very rare factory air conditioning that has been converted over to the R134A system and just serviced, blows cold air. Body is in very good condition, floor boards are perfect. The convertable top and liner are about one year old and interior is very good. Just had a new battery installed. Car has had recent tune up, including valves adjusted, and runs and drives great. Starts immediately, every time. This car has a clear Mississippi title and is listed as a 1979 model but was built in January 1980 when there were only 518 of these cars made due to strong orders and production continued to fill orders. This car was one of the very last beetles made. Was told it was 129th in the build order? This car is just like the last Super Beetle, a tripple-white convertable, that rolled off the production line and is now on display in the Karmann museum in Germany.
