FOR SALE IS A 1987 Honda Accord LX-i CAR WILL BE SOLD AS-IS AND NO WARRANTY. 4 cylinder, Manual 5-Speed transmission. 2.0 liter engine. This car is REALLY good on gas as you would image most 5-speeds are. I am selling this car because I no longer need it, I'm going to miss it though! The car runs great and has been totally reliable. I use it as a daily driver, and have had no major issues ever. This car is and has been well-maintained, taken care of and garage kept for the last 4-5 years and was owned by an older couple before that. The car IS inspected currently, I just had a sticker put on it in June. I had new rear tires put on, winter treads on the front. Last fall the transmission was replaced and has approx. 60,000 miles on the training. I also had a new clutch put in and it shifts easily and smooth, and is easy to drive. Maybe good for a newbie learning how to drive a stick, a daily driver or a grocery-getter. Hide-away headlights. I have a full-sized spare tire as well as a doughnut spare, lug wrench and jack will all be included. There are no major dents or scratches, only a few minor dings and a bit of the paint is chipping here and there. For the year, it really is an awesome car, and if your a Honda enthusiast like myself then you know that 204,000 miles is just breaking it in! There are a few minor things about that need some work (It is an '87 after all)! The wind-shield wipers work but the switch needs replaced, it works you just have to fidget with it and move it around a little. In the pictures there are speaker and radio wires, but they will be taken out before I sell the car, so there will be no stereo system included. The hatchback shocks will need replaced, it won't stand up on its own. The latch on the glove-box needs replaced. There is a tear in the driver seat upholstery. The carpet on both drivers side and passenger side floor is very worn. There are no hub caps on it right now, but I have the original hub caps. All four floor mats are in good condition. New/Added parts & accessories: New fuel filter. New plugs and wires. Rear ball joints. Front tire-rod ends. Functional hoodscoop with KnN airfilter. New front brakes, calipers and rotors. New front axles and wheel bearings on both. Cherry-bomb muffler. I have a new-in-box distributor cap and rotor also new-in-box that I just didn't have time to have put on.
