Vehicle Detail

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false 1967 SS Camaro 400 Small Block w/ 3 Speed Auto Stick This car is in beautiful condition for a driven classic car. It has approximately 5000 miles on it since the rebuild of the engine. This car drives wonderfully—better than most restored classic cars. The drive train is solid and there is no slipping. Compared to other restored Camaros this one is truly in excellent condition. Exterior --The paint is in great condition with only normal’s paint chips that you’d expect on a 5000 miles car. --Body is extremely straight (see pictures), no waves in the body, no rust in the trunk or the crease points just above the trunk, which extremely common issue for classic chevys. --Windows are free of scratches and cracks. Brand new windshield was just installed because the original was pitted badly. --New exhaust from headers back: mufflers are 40 serious Flowmasters with 2.5 inch pipes Drive Train --400 Chevy Small Block --Quadra jet carburetor (better fuel mileage without compromising power when compared to classic 4 barrel) --Turbo 350 Transmission --10 Bolt differential --Tires in great condition (see pictures) --Front disc brakes Interior Baby Blue in good condition. Everything on the dash cluster works. All thermostat controls work. Needs radio but wiring and new speakers are ready to go. What I Would Fix Next if I had The Time and Money The undercarriage is rust free (body, frame, floor panels etc…) the body is 99% rust free. There is a some surface rust on the driver side rain gutter, and the driver’s side rear fender just behind the tire. This is the only rust on the car. Most classic Camaros have significantly more rust in these areas, as they are common rust posts for these cars. It’s so minor that I would only have the bodywork done if I was going to repaint the entire car, but the paint is still in such good condition, so it’s not worth it to me at this time. --Small chip approx. the size of a thumbnail on paint just above driver’s side windshield --Slight scuffs on the vinyl driver’s side door --Rubber dash is slightly cracking on the driver’s side ($100 fix) --Small ding in drivers side upper panel (200-300 dollars to fix) --new chrome fender liners (They look good from five feet away but not show quality when viewed closely) Again, I'm a very picky person about cars, so to most people they wouldn't even notice the imperfections, but I feel I need to mention them to online buyers before they bid on the car, so they know 100% what they are getting.
