I bought this car from the (to my knowledge) second owner in California in 2009. I have redone all of the mechanicals except the transmission and it shifts fine although it has a little delay when you put it into reverse. The car runs and brakes fantastic and goes straight down the road. It has been North Carolina safety inspected and passed with no issues. I am a former PCA member and have owned three 911's and wanted something different - it is different from a 911!! Have to sell to make room in garage for new car. THE GOOD: All lights, speedo, front wipers, sunroof, power windows, locks, electric seat controls, seat back releases and hatch shocks work. Temp and oil guage work. A/C works great - I replaced the dash A/C - Heat control box as well and it is like new. Replaced Radiator at 149,000 miles. Tensioners, belts and gaskets replaced at 145,000 miles Aftermarket Stereo ROCKS! Has an Infinity Subwoofer in rear hatch area that really helps when windows and sunroof are open. Brake lines and pads all replaced within last 5,000 miles. Tires have less than 1500 miles on them. New EXPENSIVE battery in November 2009. Wheels have been replaced with stock and are in very good condition - could use redone center caps. Notebook full of reciepts and information on the car over the last owner and myself - about 50-60,000 miles. No accident history. THE NOT SO GOOD: The interior is 26 years old - carpet is OK, driver seat bolster is torn (see pic). CD player works, but there is no antenna for the radio that I can find in the windshield - you may have better luck as I have not devoted much to this. Pretty good ding in driver side front fender (see pic) that the car had when I got it - was told it happened at a grocery store. Paint has been redone at some point, looks OK, but is not perfect by any means with scratches and rub marks in spots. I broke the trip meter after putting gas in the car recently - yes, I pushed the button while moving...so odometer stopped working as well - have not put 500 miles on car since I did this, but want to be upfront about it!! Will cost $200 to have the instruments removed and sent to be fixed. Remote rear hatch releases do not work. Gas Guage and Battery Guage are intermittent - cannot understand why. Probably needs new gas tank solenoid, but the battery thing is puzzling me and the mechanic who did the work. There is no spare tire, but the jack and equipment are all there.
