Vehicle Detail
Up for sale I have A Classic Muscle Car, a 1972 Mustang Convertible perfect for the summer weather! The car has 131K original miles on this powerful 351 CID Cleveland 2 Barrel Engine ALL MATCHIING NUMBERS ! This daily Still purrs smoothly and chomps at the bit to be driven when put in drive The VIN / door tag information shows the car in its original configuration: VIN: 2F03H219429 Year 1972 Plant Dearborn, MI Engine 315 CID Engine (Cleveland); Production number 219429 Body 76D Convertible 2 door Color 5H Medium Brown Metallic Trim CF Ginger All Vinyl, Comfortweave, Luxury Interior Trans X FMX Automatic Axle 2 2.75:1, Conventional DSO 17 Sold in the Washington, DC District This Thoroughbred also has: RARE FMX (medium duty) transmission, 3 speed Automatic – not the light duty one normally found in these cars. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Convertible top (fully working) RARE Factory installed A/C Original Mustang Radio w/ Cassette player Deluxe Ginger (medium brown) interior, with NEW Carpeting and padding installed. This car is free of any major rust that is so common on these classic cars: Specifically the Frame Rails, Shock Towers and Floor Pans are strong and clear of rust! Now this pony car isn’t exactly all new – 38 years after all, so it does need a new paint job to fix surface rust common to these cars. Though the convertible top is fuly functional a new one would look sharper (with the aforementioned paint job), along with a few interior cosmetic fixes such as a crack in the dash panel and passenger armrest. Finaly the brakes are a bit weak and probably need to be bled and the starter is showing signs of age. This Pony does need a few odds and ends fixed – but the bones & guts of this car are in incredible shape! I have described the vehicle to the best of my ability and knowledge - if you have further question I will try to answer them. I also have many more pictures upon request and the vehicle is available for viewing (its encouraged) by arrangement. You can easily make this your daily driver or restore it to showroom quality; don’t let this Pony get away! HAPPY BIDDING & GOOD LUCK !!!! Now for a bit of arm chair psuedo legal terminology: I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE AUCTION EARLY DUE TO THE CAR BEING ADVERTISED LOCALLY. THIS CAR IS SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION WITH NO WARRANTIES GIVEN OR IMPLIED. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO HAVE INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND TO HAVE SATISFIED HIMSELF AS TO THE VALUE AND THE CONDITION AND TO BID SOLELY UPON THAT JUDGEMENT ONLY. The NON Refundable Deposit of $500 is due within 3 DAYS of Auction close, with full payment in 7 DAYS. I do not accept personal checks for the deposit nor generally deal with paypal. Vehicle & title will only be released once full payment has cleared the bank. Bank transfers and preferably Bank checks are best (and speediest), though money orders are acceptable (too many scams occuring with those now a days). Thanks for looking.
