The factory Silver paint looks outstanding on this car. The paint has plenty of shine and looks great from every angle. The 18" wheels really set the car off and provide a cool contrast. The tires are good, I'd rate them at about 80% tread life left. The interior is in excellent condition as well. The seats are very nice and have no rips or stains. Overall, it's very clean. Mechanically, this car is a real rocket. The 1.8T benefits from a larger intercooler, blow-off valve, and a nice conservative tune to make 260 horsepower safely. This GTI is as docile as a stock car when cruising, but when you hit the gas the boost comes on and this car really comes to life. This car is a blast to drive. The rubber mount for the transmission will need to be replaced at some point. My mechanic quoted $220 to replace it.
