I am selling my baby. My 1999 Nissan Maxima SE. This has been my primary car since early 2006. I bought it from a private party in Maryland and when I moved to Los Angeles, I drove it across the country. The car has leather seats, automatic transmission, power windows & locks, sunroof, spoiler, high end aftermarket radio with CD+tape and 12 disc MP3 CD changer in the trunk. Some minor scratches and dents on the body + normal wear and tear stuff for a 1999 car. I have had no serious issues with the car. Typical maintenance and small stuff over the years - got the A/C fixed once, radiator needed to be replaced a year ago, otherwise, its been just an oil change every 3000-4000 miles and thats all. I had new tires put in at costco about 6 months ago. They cost me over $500, they are top of the line Michelin with years of tread left. I also had them rotated by costco on schedule... Here are the other things I think you would like to know: 1) the clock on the dash stopped working about 6 months after I bought it. this never bothered me because I had a Jensen CD player with a clock installed at best buy, as well as a 12 disc mp3/cd changer put in the trunk. 2) 2 years ago someone broke into the car (bashed the window) and tried to steal the radio. they didnt get it, but they messed up the console a little. I reconstructed it as best I could, but its definably not perfect. Everything works fine though.... I have a detailed pic attached. Of course, I fixed the window right away. 3) A couple of months ago, someone rear-ended me at a red light in the rain. It wasnt too bad, but the trunk is pushed in a little and the spoiler was knocked off. I was told that it can all be fixed for a a few hundred bucks if you know the right people, but honestly, I dont care about it, so I took the insurance money and went on vacation instead... The car has been fine since then, I drive it every day, sometimes over an hour on the freeway and I have had no problems. I think the pictures will answer your questions abou this. The trunk has not leaked in the rain or anything like that. The spoiler is in the trunk if you can figure out how to reattach it. The bottom line is that I am a reasonable person and not a car expert, but I have a great mechanic and I always made sure the car is in good order. It looks great and runs fine. I am selling it because my sister had another kid and needs a minivan, so her husband is going to give me their Infiniti. (Great deal for me!!)
