This 5 series has been my daily driver for several years. I recently purchased a newer car, so now this one must go. I'm not a mechanic but I can tell you that the car runs great. It drives and handles as a german engineered car should. The windows and the sunroof all work as they should. The A/C works as it should, nice and cold. I recently installed a new cabin air filter. The transmission was replaced at appx 195K mi, It is due for a service but was still functioning as it should when I took it off the road. The tires have between 40 and 50% tread left on them. The brakes were replaced about 20K ago. The drivers side door lock does not work, nor does the 10 disc CD changer in the trunk. The headliner sags. The seats are all rip free. The drivers side seat heater does not work. There is some rust starting on the bottoms of the doors but the undercarriage is completely rust free. The fuel door is missing and the trim on the doors is missing( courtesy of the car wash). There is a banging noise up front, and one of the front struts is leaking. The noise could be related to the strut. The check engine light is on. My mechanic pulled codes and it was the O2 sensor. There is one included with the vehicle, It will need to be installed. It has been incredibly reliable for me but it is still 19 yrs old. This is not a showroom piece but incredibly safe basic transportation. I have tried to describe the vehicle as candidly as I could. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I can tow this vehicle for the rental cost of the trailer and 2.00 per loaded mile. This vehicle has no warranties written or implied. It can be viewed by appointment, bring your mechanic. Also I have the lien release from the bank. There are NO current liens on this vehicle.
