1959 Thunderbird Convertible,Paint Code A (Black) Trim 8X (Black & White),PS, Manual Brakes, Manual Windows,Power Seat,,,Needs complete restoration,,Project or use for parts,,needs floors and some lower body panels replaced,,trunk floor is in good condition some surface rust and pinholes,,,original 352 engine which is stuck,,pulled the heads and found 2 bad head gaskets,,,,all the convertible components in the trunk are original,,deck lock solenoids,,hoses,,pistons,,top switch,,deck lid is in nice shape a few dents in the bottom center near the bumper which appears someone tried to pry the deck open,,,flipper lid in nice condition,,package tray is decent (I have had a lot worse),,,top frame looks to be complete including the top latches,,needs windshield and door glass,,,the car came originally with crank windows and power drivers seat,,wiring is all intact except for the under dash top switch,,,when i got the car it was painted orange most of the paint has been taken down to the original color such as the decklid and primered in other spots,, Car is originally out of Georgia which did not issue titles on vehicles prior to 1963 or 1964,,have bill of sale and letter from Georgia DMV confirming information and other info on the car dating to the 1980s so your buying the car with bill of sale only For anyone interested in restoring the vehicle I do have for sale "Separately" a set of correct black and white 1959 seats front & back (Other than what you see in car) which are in very good condition and do have the power drivers seat and seat skirts and also a set of black carpets As indicated this car needs to be totally restored but if your a body man or can do your own welding the patch panels are readily available,Car is 95% complete missing intake manifold & carb & the air cleaner,,,I do have a small reserve which is probably what you would have to pay for the top components,,I have 2 other Tbird projects going now so really don't have time to get to this one Car is sold as is where is no warranty expressed or implied,,$500.00 deposit due 48 hours after auction closes,,balance due at time of pickup,,,email me with questionsOn Jul-31-10 at 09:07:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Added some additional pictures by request,,inner fender well drivers side original factory paint no rust,,front cross member nice shape no rust,,corner where cross member fender well meet drivers side,,inner quarter panel drivers side behind the rear wheel,,can't get the other side the muffler in the way but similar condition,,frame above both rear wheel wells,,,cross bracket between the gas tank and rear bumper which hold the bumper brackets
