Well Mercedes got just the ticket for this situation. It is call the CL65 AMG. The CL is the top of Mercedes' line and the 65 AMG is the over the top no holds barred edition that is so exclusive that there is only 142 of these 2005 edition and a total of 194 ever made for the U.S. market, now that is exclusive. Not that Mercedes ever plan to make a lot of them as a four year lease on this would be somewhere around $3000 a month! But hey it gets 19 on the freeway and 14 in the city so that ought to help? Not that you care about all that when you step on this monster engine with 604HP and 738 lbs of torque. There are various accelerator figures from a mind boggling 3.6 sec to a paltry 4.1 second 0-60  and a best recorded 10.7 sec. 128 MPH ¼ mile. We are talking Russian wrestler power here so Ferrari's and vettes better stay out of the way as your day is shot while this automatic 5 speed blow pass you all the while sipping cappuccino and listening to Mozart in the whisper quiet cabin with miles of Napa leather and forest of hand polish burl wood. This car is all about the engine, the enlarge V12 that is used in the Maybach  57 and Mercedes 600. The folks at AMG massaged it and enlarge it with 22 lbs of boost and now it is reclassified as a cruise missile with seats. The transmission have been revised so it shifts 35% quicker than the stock tranny. Some might ask why not get one of those new 6 speed or even 7 speed transmission, the answer is when there is 738lbs of torque it can practically have just one speed and it would be fine, the torque reaches its max at 3000 RPM and doesn't stop till you are in court! And frankly that amount of torque will dismantle a tranny with smaller gears in no time.  This engine cost $180 large but you get a damn nice car with it too! Yes one with active body control ABS, anti skid, park distance, premium stereo , double pane glass so you don't hear the cry of agony from that Lamborghini next to you ( seen on YouTube ), plus just about every amenity that Mercedes can muster, after all this is their flag ship, we can have any less now can we. All this complicated engineering does have its draw back and that is cost...cost of maintenance and repair. That is why we added a 50,000 miles or 36 month bumper to bumper warranty by fidelity to make sure until the year 2013 or when the clock ticks 95000 miles, there is nothing other than a $100 deductable will ever face you on unscheduled stops. How's that for a peace of mind? Want to buy one of these platinum warranty? call the dealer, they want $7000 for it, and you would not want to own a AMG65 without one as you will soon find out what second mortgage is about! This particular car is a one of the rarest color, and with the two piece custom painted wheels. The elegant leather interior in dove gray with walnut burl trim is elegance with the mercedes touch. The rest of the car is in one word , pristine!Also it is fully serviced, the next schedule service is not due for another 9000 miles. Front brake s have been replaced and a recent $5000 service was just performed at the dealer as well.  Look at the pictures and let it speak for itself. All service done and absolutely need nothing aside from someone with a huge grin sitting where you ought to be....
