This 1970 Spitfire is has it's original drivetrain with it's original dual SU HS-2 carburetors. It starts easily and runs smoothly. The clutch and brakes are in good condition. The tires are Firestone FR312 155/80/13 and in good to excellent condition with plenty of tread on them. The wheels are the original knock off, Dunlop wire wheels. It could use a new convertible top and the top frame welded near the header rail. Not a big deal. I can fix the top frame and install a new Robbins soft top for an extra $750.00 if you wish. Or you could do it yourself for less. The body and frame is solid and very good throughout. The seats are serviceable and seat belts have been installed. The windscreen or windshield is not cracked. The Grant steering wheel is not my cup of tea, but could be cleaned up and made to look nice. Grant makes a horn button kit for this application. The chrome is very good. It is a straight, solid, driver Mk III spitfire that has it's original drivetrain and would be an EASY restoration.
